Windows Writer! A new beginning for TTN

So I just got round to installing the new windows live messenger, and I was thrilled to see another optional program I could install, entitled Windows Writer.

So I’m doing a quick test post with it, so far I’m liking the interface, it’s all very simple and clean. Very Web 2.0 one might say. Let me just grab a quick screenshot here…

Cool. What I really like about it is how much EASIER formatting my text and stuff is. On the actual blogger interface you get a text editor, but it’ not “what you see is what you get” like this. I’m liking how I can see what my post is going to look like, as I’m writing it.

I guess some other cool news would be I’ve also started VIDEO BLOGGING. Typing stuff is fun, but after seeing a friend of mine making vlogs on youtube, I thought to myself “Hey! That looks pretty fun! I could totally do that”

So I did ^_^ and my youtube channel can be found under the name: TheMagicalJamie. Why ‘the’ you may ask? Well, I did make a MagicalJamie youtube account a while ago. But I forgot the password I used. And also I signed up with a fake email address to avoid spam, so I can’t recover it. Smooth.

So this is an example of the short of stuff I’ll be doing. Once you actually break into the YouTube blogging community it’s not all that bad.

Incidentally, I was surprised at how quick and easy that video was to embed with this program. Just a few clicks! Video > Web Service > Youtube > Log In > Choose video

So yeah, liking how I can intertwine my webcasts with little to no effort at all.

I’ll leave it at that. Not done a diary style post in a while. Maybe I’ll do that at some point.

Or maybe I won’t. But expect much more activity on this site again, now that I don’t have to click through Blogger’s awkward and laggy interface.
