Holy SHIT 50 posts O_O

Oh wow!

Check this out, looks like this is my 50th entry on my blog! Haha, Since I started I never knew I'd keep it up for this long, but yeah. Hooray! Let's hope this is an interesting post!

Well to start off the 50th entry to TYPICAL TEENAGE NONSENSE I think I'll bitch and whine about some negative things in my life at the moment. If there's anything people like as entertainment, t's knowing that other people have problems too =). So they can laugh at/have sympathy for/ not care about someone else.

NEGATIVE THINGY NUMBER 1

My school to-do list:

Yes this is generally my fault, leaving things till the last minute and what have you, but to be honest, I don't care whose fault it is >_< on ="D" weekend ="O">

  1. An english draft (5-7 minute presentation) due MONDAY
  2. Ancient history essay (8-10 minute presentation) due MONDAY
  3. Ancient history research book (50% done at the moment) due MONDAY
  4. Ancient history powerpoint (to go with essay) due MONDAY
  5. 3 Graphics drawings, 1 perspective and 2 engineering, due MONDAY
  6. Study for science 21 exam that occur on MONDAY, TUESDAY and FRIDAY
  7. Study for graphics exam occuring on TUESDAY
And some long term stuff that needs doing!

  1. Study for future maths exam (a few weeks)
  2. Finish graphics assignment (due OCTOBER 14)
Although! Now I have a to do list maybe I'll be more motivated to get stuff done =D. And it's not like I've got the biggest workload, most people in the school have a lot of stuff to get done these days, particularly year 12, sooo I can't complain that much...

MOVING ON TO NEGATIVE THING NUMBER 2

This is not school related.

But it fucking sucks.

Right, so MONTHS AND MONTHS ago I bought tickets to go see Opeth.

That's right, OPETH. The legendary swedish prog/death metal quintet that write some of the longest, cleverest songs EVER. Check out this short video for The Grand Conjuration.

So why is this such a negative thing you may ask? Well!

Turns out that ONE DAY BEFORE THE GIG (all ages) that Michael and I bought tickets for, the shitty Arena (the venue) suddenly announces they have changed the gig to 18+. After months and months of chance they leae it till the very last day to tell all their under 18 gig go-ers their ticket is not valid.

NEVER MIND giving us the chance to try and sell on our tickets to someone else, or tell us its an 18+ from the start? No! Tell us the day before so there's almost nothing we can do about it, except apply for a refund that'll take a million years to arrive. All because they wanted to "lisence" (sell alcohol).

Bastards.

So that's my FUCKING AWESOME WEEKEND turned into another dreary monotonous piece of shit once again. I'll have to make the most of it however.

  • Yari's birthday tomorrow, though I won't be visiting, I'll give her stuff on Monday, no big deal.
  • Also Father's day, so I gotta sort something for that.
  • But aside from that, nothing happening.

MORE TIME TO TACKLE THAT TO DO LIST I SUPPOSE AHAHAHAHA FUCK OFF.

ANYWAY that aside, lets talk about some more positive stuff.

Can't be all bad right? I mean, there's gotta be some good stuff happening with my life at the moment? Well there's one short term cool thing I like, and one long term thing I'm looking forward to. Care to read about them? No? Tough, because tat's what I'm typing at the moment. Deal.

Short term gadget

I just downloaded a new browser! Google Chrome is a nice free bit of open source browsing software that has the potential to compete with firefox. Here's my opinion of it:

So I downloaded Chrome to see what all the fuss was about. it's onoly just become available so I wasn't expecting much. However I was pleasantly surprised!

It has a very sleek, minimal design with very little toolbars ot buttons to get in the way. Takes some getting used to, but it's a very neatly packed, slimline browser that can do most things you need. It's lack of loading bars and toolbars also allow a lot more space on screen for showing web content. So it feels like you have a larger internet window going on.

The address bar works like firefox's awesome bar, in that it finishes off website URLS and bookmarks for you, while also doubling as a google search engine. Nice.

Another neat feature is the incognito mode. This allows you to browse webpages without having anything saved into your history, cookies downloaded or bookmarks changed. Seems totally marketed to porn surfers wanting to keep their hard drive clean. But who are we to judge? It's a cool gadget.

So there you go! A brief overview of the awesomeness of Google Chrome. Check it out, make the switch if you're up for it =).

Long term awesome?

Long term! I decided what I'm going to do with my future. Here's the plan, ready?

Gap. Year.

The ultimate idea!

Our residency in australia hasn't processed yet, so I won't be able to apply for Hecs which MEANS! I can't afford to go to uni this year. If it processes in time fair enough, I could still go, but even if that happened, I have decided not to.

GAP YEAR!

See, if I take a year off, I'll have the chance to do everything I didnt do in year 12, that a lot of people did. I can get a job and earn some money that'll go towards my studies, and general living and recreation during uni. A whole years worth of income free to spend ^_^

I can also finally get my learner's and learn to drive haha. Didn't do that during school either.

I'll have some time to take off, experience life a little bit, practice drawing, smoke some weed and generally relax. Ready to kick back into studying in 2010.

AS OPPOSED TO BEING ALL, SHIT SHIT RUSH GOTTA GET READY FOR UNI IN A FEW MONTHS.

Cool =) so that'll be sweet.

The deep and meaningful bit

Time to take that serious tone again.

Oh noes you say, but bah! I always have something interesting to whine about, so here's this times. What's wrong with me people ask? I've had a few people say I'm depressed. Fuck you people, I am NOT depressed. People get down in their lives, that's how it works. Quit accusing me of havinig some serious problem when all it is is general angsty NONSENSE (hey thats the blog name). Here's whats up.

People comment on my msn name a lot, in the personal message bar I have Always lonely with a fake smile =). And people, being the gossip harboring/caring people that they are wanna know whats up?

Haha. NOTHING. Jeez, YES GODDAMMIT I get sad that I'm single, and YES FUCK I feel lonely A LOT OF THE TIME. But we already knew that! It's just one of those things. SO WHAT IF I CRAVE FOR AFFECTION SOMETIMES. That's only human. Just because I DESPISE sitting around looking at everyone in our year pair off and be happy (for a while until they break up and fall into a depressive cycle of self harm and almost-suicide).

So I put on a smile =)

No one likes looking at someone sit around feeling sorry for themselves/

Rather than trying to justify how I feel, it's easier to just pretend I'm content and not have them bother me.

All bets are off though now, this is my corner of the internet where I can spill my guts and not care, my msn name is the truth, maybe it's also a DESPERATE cry for attention, but because I admit that it doesn't matter. Maybe it isn't? But it's true =).

So now you can FUCK OFF asking me about my name. Alright? Everyone has issues/upsets, that's one of mine, hooray! I'm human! See you later.

Also hello to Michael, who will no doubt subtley yet obviously quote this in a conversation we have. You know you will, you always do, lets laugh about it afterwards.

Anyway! Back to positive, lets have some artz!

So I drew ANOTHER GODDAMN SELF PORTRAIT for my art class at school, THEN I changed the colours around and did 4 seperate prints. Hooray andy warhol! Inventor of 'copy paste your work 4 times and change the hue, making it 4x bigger!'.

The point is, it's alot like my other self portrait, but a little less depressing, It represents me in my current state. Teenage, smooth and usual. The other one looks like an old version of me, this one I like more.

Oh shit thats super cool lololol awesome.

ANYWAY

I gotta get going, emergency shopping trip for presents and lunch and stuff. So I gotta get ready etc.

That about wraps it up, happy 50 fucking posts for TTN! It's come a long way, let's make it to 100!

Cya and goodbye!

For some reason while I had windows vista, I started to get blue screens constantly. I than installed windows xp and the computer was a'lot faster but still, I got the blue screens. There are no viruses on my computer. I don't know much about fixing computers, so hopefully I won't have to take something out or whatever inside my computer, im hoping I can just fix this problem by doing something ON the computer. ***The blue screens will only appear if I basically have alot of graphic material running on the computer, such as if I start a game, play a move, or video on youtube. I think I remember my brother telling me that the problem could be some driver he put in, but he didn't know for sure. Hes the computer genious and the mr. fix it in the house. But he's never home and won't ever look at the problem and fix it. (Please someone help me, I have searched all over google with no solutions.) The most common errors I get on the blue screen are: irql_not_less_or_equal driver_irql_not_less_or_equal Here is my recent error logs starting from today :(Some may be the same as other error logs, but youll be able to see which problem occurs the msot) The device, \Device\Scsi\nvidesm1, did not respond within the timeout period. The device, \Device\Scsi\nvidesm1, did not respond within the timeout period. The wscsvc service failed to start due to the following error: The executable program that this service is configured to run in does not implement the service. Please, someone tell me how to fix this, it is so annoying having to restart my computer constantly and losing stuff. I can't play my favorite games anymore because of this.
