*Cut out and stick biro doodles on a wall*
project. But I like the idea :) and I intend to keep it up for a while, until I run out of space on the wardrobe at least.
To explain:
I have decided to draw at least one Random doodle, or cartoon every day for as long as I can, and stick it up on my cupboard door using Blu-Tack. Originally it was going to me my Nintendo wall. Until I realized I can only really draw one Nintendo character. So now it's my cartoon doodle wall :) HOORAY!
So far, my wall contains a Super Mario head, and a Newgrounds Tank (with happy Tankman)
AWESOME!
MOVING ON
Now I was actually holding off making a post until I got the gig footage back, but evidently I haven't got it yet, so I'll give you a brief run down.
It went AMAZINGLY well for us. And our final setlist is as follows, and if you don't know the bands by now, I'm afraid I'll have to kill you.
- Aerials
- Dying in Your Arms
- Hangar 18
- Dissident Aggressor
- Symphony of Destruction
- Ace of Spades
Dying in Your Arms - Also went very well, this is where I started singing, and I think I did an OK job as it goes, I'm no singer, but I got the job done here. We can play Dying in Your Arms in our sleep now, it was our first song, and we're damn good at it.
Hangar 18 - Our call to arms, this song makes a great addition to our list, and we performed it pretty well, always room for improvement, and the tempo slowed down a little in some areas. But it was good, and of course, all 11 guitar solos were played.
Dissident Aggressor - Our newest song, we did alright, but I can't sing it for shit, and the bass is hard to keep in time when I sing, I don't think anyone noticed though.
Symphony of Destruction - Went as well as could be expected, we did a decent cover with (what I thought was) pretty ok vocals. The guitar solo was a little sloppy, but it worked.
Ace of Spades - Our finale, we all LOVE playing this song, and we're pretty good at it. I can't sing like Lemmy, but I can sure as hell play bass fast enough, this was a fun cover and Zach joined me on stage to sing 'Ace of Spades!' when the time was right. Good fun :D
Then of course people got drunk and we had to kick out a bunch of strangers.
PLANZ
I'm going to an Xmas picnic with the guys tomorrow, should be good fun. I'm looking forward to it. Maybe take te camera and post pictures tomorrow. Maybe not, we'll see.
AND THAT'S YOUR LOT FOR TODAY
It's 2:50am and I'm tired, I'm getting up in the morning.
NIGHT!
